10/01/11 10:48
It was a splendid evening at Nailsea Mark Lodge on the occasion of their January meeting, The Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro David Nelson accepted the gavel from the Worshipful Master, Sam Lamkin to conduct the ceremony, advancing Bro Michael Holden-Wadsworth to the honourable degree of Mark Master Mason. He was ably assisted by a full team of officers including the Provincial Senior and Junior Wardens, Tony Wilcox and Neil Hawes. It was a wonderful Mark evening with over 60 brethren present, the meeting was followed by the usual excellent Nailsea Festive Board.
The Master Sam Lamkin, who at 91 is probably the oldest Master of any Mark Lodge in the country, commented that he couldn't have done a better ceremony himself!!
Lodge Junior Warden Ted Guy, Master Sam Lamkin and Senior Warden John Wyatt.
