Changes at the top in Craft
Peter retires after 15 years of active service to the Craft Executive in Somerset, first as Provincial DC then Assistant PGM before becoming Deputy PGM in 2001. He has made a great contribution to Freemasonry in the Province, his good sense of humour and outrageous golfing stories concerning a former Assistant PGM have made him many friends throughout the Province! His retirement will allow him to spend more time with his wife and family. He is a member of the William de Irwin Mark Lodge in Yeovil and is also planning to be a founder member of the proposed new Mark Daylight Lodge at Wedmore.
Stuart Hadler becomes the new Deputy, Stuart is a Past Master of the Somerdale Mark Lodge at Keynsham and Past Commander of Nailsea Lodge of RAM. John Winston the Craft Provincial Almoner, will become the new Assistant PGM. John is currently Provincial Grand Deputy Secretary of the Mark, he is a Past Master of Langdale Mark Lodge and Senior Warden of the Fidelity and Unanimity Lodge of RAM in Taunton.
We wish both of these distinguished brethren well in there new roles, the changes take effect at the next Provincial Meeting to be held on 25th March 2010 at Weston super Mare. W.Bro Stuart Hadler W.Bro John Winston
