The Mark Provincial Grand Secretaries Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 1641, met at Keynsham on Saturday, 16th October to install a new Worshipful Master. The Lodge which meets twice a year in various locations throughout the country usually holds its installation meeting in October each year in the Province of the new Worshipful Master.
Right Worshipful Brother John Platts, the Provincial Grand Master for Bristol and Master of the Lodge installed in our own PGM David Nelson in the chair of the Lodge. In taking the chair our Provincial Grand Master became the third Provincial Secretary and Provincial Grand Master from Somerset to do so, following in the distinguished footsteps of R.W. Bros David Palmer and Tony Hick.
The new worshipful Master was supported in by the members of his own Lodge and of course many visitors from the Province of Somerset. The Lodge meeting was preceded by a very pleasant lunch which was attended by members and visitors together with their wives and partners.
