Reliable sources (mentioning no names but it was Barrie Baker) report that John Lendon has now mastered switching on the computer in his living room, and that he may even start to use it!

The long serving secretary of Nailsea Mark Lodge is standing down after many years of loyal service to the Lodge and the Province. Les Downs says his decision was prompted because he is to undergo heart surgery at the end of this month. This will be followed by further surgery on his hip at a later date. We thank Les for all his hard work over many years and of course we wish him well for the future.

We welcome Philip Thorne, currently the assistant secretary who takes over from Les as Secretary.
