Welcome to the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Somerset. The site is designed primarily for those who are already Mark Master Masons by providing information about Lodges, Officers, news and future events. But we hope that the site will also be of interest to Freemasons who have not yet joined the Mark Degree. Taking the fourth regular step gives an idea of what someone thinking of joining the degree can expect. There is also an explanation of the structure of the degree in England and Wales, which is governed by the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of England and Wales and it’s districts and Lodges overseas. The degree of Royal Ark Mariner is also administered by the Mark degree, the Provincial Grand Master of the Mark degree is the Provincial Grand Master of the Royal Ark Mariner degree.
