Cerdic Mark 571 Chard get their man!
A goodly number of brethren attended the meeting at Cerdic Mark, Chard, on Wednesday 17th April, with the added bonus of the Provincial Grand Master, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master and other illustrious brethren being in attendance.
To make it even more of a special evening for the candidate Bro Jamie Jones is the Worshipful Master of Prudence and Industry, the Craft lodge that meets in the same temple at Chard meaning a special connection for this Advancement Ceremony, as brother Jamie knew many of the Officers very well! The Advancement ceremony ran very smoothly, under the guidance of the WM W.Bro Steve Clift.
A special mention for W.Bro Ian Clift ( WM’s brother), who presented the signs and secrets superbly .Also , a big thank you to brother Graham Clark, visiting from Fidelity and Unanimity Mark 348, who stood in as Senior Deacon, another splendid job. Brother Graham’s work was not finished, as he gave a super response to the visitor’s toast , at the festive board, where a fine sum was raised for the Charities. It was a fine way to finish off this term at Cerdic Mark, where they return in October to Install SW and Master Elect Bro Steve Warwick at the Installation meeting
