A super June day at Grand Lodge in London

A visit to Great Queen Street is always a memorable day and this investiture meeting was no exception. A group of Somerset Mark Master Masons lead by the PGM Phil Voisey and Tony Guthrie, the Deputy PGM attended Grand Lodge on Tuesday 11th June 2024.  A good number of Mark brethren went in support of the two brethren receiving first appointments to Grand Rank, Val Cooke who was invested as Grand Steward, and Stuart Boyd who was invested as Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies. 

A really wonderful meeting, presided over by Prince Michael of Kent, the Grand Master in person, followed by a sumptuous dinner for about 800 Brethren in the magnificent Connaught Rooms topped off the day.  A jolly boys outing!
