Somerset Installed Mark Masters
At the recent meeting of Somerset Mark Masters, a goodly number of members and guests were present.
The Travelling Keystone was brought over by members of the Isle of Wedmore Lodge, and charged the members of Somerset Installed Masters to carry it onwards to Exmoor Lodge in October.

A Vice Patrons Jewel was awarded to Stanley Hall to mark his contribution to the Somerset 2028 Festival.

The meeting was followed by an insightful lecture from Brother Les Pickersgill on the Enigma machine – its creation and it’s use in various conflicts over the years. Les work in communications in the army and finished his career with GCHQ in Cheltenham.
The brethren then retired and enjoyed a sumptuous festive board of bangers and mash.
All Mark Masons in Somerset are encouraged to attend the Installed Mark Masters Lodge at it’s meetings in June and September, an interesting and unique lecture is usually given. It is also a top opportunity to meet your fellow brethren from across the province.
