Somerset Members Honoured at Royal Ark Mariners Grand Assembly

Two distinguished members from Somerset, Dave Dixon and Steve McCarthy, have been honoured at the recent Royal Ark Mariners Grand Assembly, in recognition of their dedication, service and continued commitment to the Order.
The ceremony, held in London, brought together companions from across the country to celebrate excellence within Royal Ark Mariner Masonry. It was a proud moment for Somerset as both representatives were recognised among a strong field of candidates from provinces nationwide.
The honours reflect not only years of loyal service within their respective lodges, but also the significant contribution both companions continue to make to charitable work, ritual excellence and companionship at a local level. Their recognition at Grand Assembly is a testament to the strength and vibrancy of Royal Ark Mariner Masonry within Somerset.
Members from the Somerset Province who attended the ceremony spoke warmly of the occasion, describing it as both a celebration of personal achievement and a moment of collective pride for the Province as a whole.
Following the event, companions returned home to a warm reception, with congratulations extended from across neighbouring lodges and Units. The Province now looks ahead to building on this success, continuing to support its members and promote the enduring values of Royal Ark Mariner Masonry.
