WBro Darren Sinclair to be the new Deputy Provincial Grand Master

On May 7th, W Bro Darren Sinclair will be appointed as the Deputy Provincial Grand Master. Most of you will already know Darren, having served as our Senior Warden last year but for those who don’t here is a quick introduction.
Darren is married to Gail and they live on the outskirts of Yeovil. He is a keen Bath Rugby supporter, owns a motor dealership in Yeovil and is also a Model Railway enthusiast. (along with the current DepPGM and the Provincial DC…!)
Darren was initiated into Taunton Deane Lodge No. 5221 in 1995, serving as WM in 2005 and has been fortunate enough to have had a couple of active roles within the Province including Standard Bearer, Membership Officer and Junior Warden. He is also a Past Master of Richard Huish Lodge No. 8518 in Taunton, and is currently a PPrSGW in the Craft, shortly to take over from Graham Puddy and become the new Provincial Charity Steward, a job which will no doubt occupy a lot of his time as the 2031 Festival gets into full swing later this year
Darren’s Mark career started with Langdale Lodge No.1615 in Taunton, serving as Master on two occasions and he is currently the Worshipful Master in the William De Irwin Mark Lodge No 162 in Yeovil. Darren has also served as Worshipful Commander in Fidelity and Unanimity Royal Ark Mariners Lodge No. 348 in Taunton.
His Mark Provincial career has included the roles of active Junior Deacon and Senior Warden (in 2024-25), plus assisting in promoting the Mark Degree to others around the Province.
