A perfectly formed meeting at Thackeray RAM in February 2026

The February meeting at Thackeray Royal Ark Mariners was truly splendid.

It’s rare to attend a meeting where everyone shares personal connections with everyone else, but this was the case at Thackeray, and this was the driving force behind what was an exceptionally warm and welcoming evening.

The Thackeray team took great delight in welcoming it’s newest member, Bro Richard William-Jones (A Hallam Lodge Mark Man). The Worshipful Commander led from the front, with Worshipful Brothers Ian Strickland and Geoff Seaman presenting essentially flawless signs and secrets and working tools, but the Icing on the cake came when the Provincial Grand Master gave the explanation of the 9 steps.

Following Richard’s Elevation, the Provincial Grand Master was very pleased to be asked to present Grand Lodge Certificates to Brothers David Weatherill and Peter Cast.

It of course wouldn’t be Clevedon had everyone not descended downstairs for truly excellent food, with great company and lively chat.
