The Installation of W. Bro. Richard King as Master of the Lodge of Monument 1295
The Installation ceremony was conducted by W. Bro. Matt Layzell, who carried out the ceremony with dignity and distinction. The evening provided an opportunity for the brethren to witness the traditional Installation ceremony and to support W. Bro. Richard King as he commenced his year in the Chair.
Following the Installation, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, W. Bro. Darren Sinclair PAGDC, delivered the Master’s Address, his first time doing so and it was excellent, offering words of encouragement and guidance to the newly installed Master and the brethren.
The evening also included a presentation by W. Bro. Darren Sinclair of a Grand Lodge Certificate to Bro Andy Cooling, together with two 2028 Festival Collarettes to W. Bro. Mike Condick and W. Bro. Geoff Ash. These presentations added a particularly memorable element to what was already a significant and enjoyable occasion.
A most enjoyable Festive Board put the icing on an excellent night’s cake.
