A memorable day at Grand Lodge for Somerset Brethren
Twenty Four Somerset Mark Master Masons led by the Provincial Grand Master RW Bro. Phil Voisey and Deputy Provincial Grand Master W.Bro Tony Guthrie attended the quarterly meeting of Mark Grand Lodge on Tuesday March 10th at Great Queen Street, London.
Brethren met for brunch at the Shakespeare’s Head in Holborn and then attended the Mark Grand Lodge meeting where we heard about the many charitable activities of the Mark Benevolent Fund which has distributed over two million pounds in 2025. There were video presentations by many recipients of various grants.
After the meeting we had a drink in the Prince of Wales pub before an excellent two course meal at La Ballerina Restaurant, Covent Garden.
The majority of the members then returned home about 8.00 pm although some stayed over for Somersetshire Lodge the next day.
WBro Geoff Seaman will be organising a group from Somerset to visit Grand Lodge in London again next year on March 9th 2027 so please make a note in your diaries as it is always an enjoyable day.
