Grand Lodge Appointments 2026
The Province is delighted to share the announcement of this year’s Grand Rank honours, to be conferred by the Most Worshipful Grand Master, His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent, GCVO.
These appointments recognise the dedication, service, and commitment of Brethren across the Province, and it is a pleasure to celebrate those who will be honoured in 2026.
First Appointments
The following Brethren will receive their first Grand Rank appointments:
- W.Bro. Geoffrey Sinclair Ifill – Grand Steward
- W.Bro. Darren Laurence Sinclair – Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies
- W.Bro. Roger Reina – Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies
Promotions
The following Brethren will be promoted in Grand Rank:
- W.Bro. Stephen Nigel White, P.G.Std.B. – to Grand Junior Deacon
- W.Bro. Stephen Louis Defries, P.G.J.D. – to Past Grand Junior Overseer
- W.Bro. Robert O’Malley-White, P.G. Stwd. – to Past Grand Junior Deacon
Investiture Dates
Brethren receiving Active Ranks or First Appointments will be invested at the Meeting of Grand Lodge on Tuesday 9th June 2026.
Those receiving Promotions to Past Rank will be invested at the Meeting on Tuesday 8th September 2026.
A Provincial Celebration
The Provincial Grand Master warmly encourages all Brethren who are able to attend these meetings of Mark Grand Lodge, to support and celebrate these distinguished recipients from Somerset.
These honours reflect not only individual merit, but the continued strength and vitality of the Province as a whole.
