30 yrs Service for Bro Andrew Lee in Mendip Mark

On a lovely sunny May morning, two of the longest serving members of Mendip Mark 781 lodge in Glastonbury, W.Bros. Steve Defries and Roger Reina visited Bro. Andrew Lee at his home in Compton Dundon to present him with his 30-year service to the Mark Degree Award.
Bro. Andrew, who is partially sighted was delighted to receive the award and donated a rare and expensive bottle of 61.8% proof Aureus Vita gin to the lodge. Further details of the gin below.
It has been decided that the bottle of gin would be auctioned at the Mendip Installation meeting on the 23rd March 2027, with the proceeds from this and the evening to be donated to Somerset Sight, a charity based in Taunton.

A gin that’s distilled just once a year, Aureus Vita is a pioneering expression shaped entirely by the Golden Ratio (1.618). Crafted in the world’s only patent-pending Fibonacci still, every stage from distillation to botanical composition are treated with the absolute precision of the ratio to achieve mathematical taste perfection and harmony.
