A Message of thanks from our Past Provincial Grand Master

Brethren,

To say I was surprised and shocked to be gifted a wallet with such a generous cheque from the Mark brethren was an understatement, this left me with a headache as to what to buy to give justice to the donation.

Now, I am the first to admit being difficult to buy for, however it’s amazing how things can just fall into place.

First the TV at home went on the blink, taking many minutes to get a picture so this was the first item I bought.

Secondly having been to France we realised the outside furniture was not that great and the very nice BBQ we had seen when we viewed the house had disappeared from the purchase.

So, I got a great deal on an 8-chair dining set and took it to France on our second visit, then a visit to a local B & Q I bought the new BBQ and still had enough left over to purchase the BBQ tools.

All these items came in under the gift limit so Gill and I will have many many years of enjoyment and that constant reminder of where these came from, so a big big thankyou to the Mark brethren in Somerset, for their generosity, I look forward to being back amongst you all in the future.
