Installation at F&U 348 Mark Lodge
Tuesday 27th October saw the F&U 348 Mark Lodge hold their Installation Meeting. In attendance were WBro Darren Sinclair Deputy Provincial Grand Master with his DC WBro Steve McNaughton PAGDC.
Before handing over the chair WBro Ian was pleased to receive WBro Paul Brice- Bullows as a new joining member of the Lodge. We wish him well and many happy years with us.
The agenda was completed and under the Risings the DPGM rose stating that he had some unique business to attend to. Following the recent passing of WBro Richard Dredge, the Provincial Grand Registrar, the DPGM requested that his D C present to him WBro Paul Brice-Bullows. WBro Darren then informed all those present, and indeed the whole Province that the Provincial Grand Master was pleased to appoint WBro Paul as the new active Provincial Grand Registrar and invested him with his collar. As the Lodge understands it, this was a historical first, that the DPGM had the honour of investing a new Provincial Grand Registrar outside of a Provincial AGM meeting. WBro Paul’s appointment was greeted with acclamation by the Lodge.
On the completion of the Lodge business, all retired to the Festive Board where an excellent three course roast was served by Karen and her team.
The Lodge now looks forward to a successful year under the guidance of our new Master with a couple of candidates in the pipeline.
