Peter Elmont walks 200KM to celebrate RNLI 200 Years – Sponsor him Here!

Peter Elmont, a former long time Provincial Treasurer of the Mark Degree in Somerset is also the Chairman of the Weston-Super-Mare RNLI Fundraising Group. You may not know that the RNLI celebrated it’s 200th Birthday on March 4th of this year and the vast majority of it’s running costs are covered by charitable donations. Peter decided to celebrate that great milestone he would undertake a sponsored 200Km Charity Walk, 10km a day for 20 days. Battling through wind and rain, Peter has pounded the promenade at Weston and is pictured here finishing his marathon trek on Saturday 23rd March.
