The Price is right for Fidelity and Unanimity RAM Lodge No. 348

The PGM Phil Voisey, Worshipful Commander Harry Price and Installing Commander WBro Darren Sinclair.

The meeting on 12th April was yet another busy night for the Lodge. The April meeting is always our Installation night, and we were pleased to welcome The Provincial Grand Master RWBro Phil Voisey.

After the meeting was opened and the PGM was received, he was almost immediately called upon, under the item of “ Matters Arising “, to present to the Worshipful Commander with a 2028 MBF Festival “Patrons Collar” which had been awarded to the Lodge for the donations given. The brethren wanted the outgoing Worshipful Commander to receive the collar has it had been earned on his watch. He only wore it for an hour before it was transferred to the incoming Commander, Harry Price!

Our Commander, Darren Sinclair worked an excellent ceremony in handing over command of the Ark to Harry Price. At the conclusion of the ceremony the PGM was again called upon to present to our newest member Bro Charlie Barker with his Grand Lodge Certificate.

One of the final items on the agenda was for Bro David Preece to receive a donation cheque of £150 for the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity and their “Brave the Shave” Campaign which he took part in. Across the UK, thousands of incredible people like David are getting sponsored to shave their head for Macmillan Cancer Support. A well shorn David thanked the Lodge for their generosity, and he will pass on the donation to the charity.

WBro Harry is now firmly in the Chair and he is looking forward to our October meeting where we have a candidate ready to be Elevated into this fine old Lodge.

An excellent Festive Board rounded off  a wonderful evening for all those that attended.

 WBro Rod Green,  Scribe.
