A fun evening at Hallam Mark
It seemed on the face of it that the September 2024 Hallam Lodge meeting was going to be a quiet affair, which to some extent it was. However, as is often the case at Mark meetings, it will stay in the memory of those there for a good while to come.
Firstly, the lodge was very pleased to welcome a joining member in the person of Stephen Harris, a former member of Mount Sinai Lodge no 1803, (Province of Gloucestershire & Herefordshire), where he was worshipful master in 2011, and a subscribing member of Lodge Marine no 232 (Craft).

Next, the Provincial Grand Master, Philip Voisey, presented Hallam’s latest advancee, Hugh Mitchell with his Grand Lode certificate. As you can see, both Hugh and Phil were very pleased.

With this done, Philip then asked the lodge director of ceremonies to escort Brian Rees to the floor, where he was presented with a certificate to mark 30 years as a Mark Master Mason. Congratulations Brian
.
And finally, and with a return to the agenda, Geoff Seaman, Tim Reynolds, George Sargeant and Alan Trask gave an expert presentation of the Lecture on the Degree of a Mark Master Mason.

An excellent evening in the lodge room, which was followed by an equally enjoyable meal downstairs.
Simply perfect 🙂
