It was a fantastic evening with over 50 brethren meeting at the Keynsham Masonic Hall for the Somerdale November meeting. The Provincial Grand Master R W Bro Phil Voisey was delighted to attend along with 25 of his Provincial Team.

The meeting, held in the Beautiful Temple at Keynsham, had an extremely full agenda with three new Joining Members and a new Candidate plus the Provincial Grand Master presenting two Festival Jewels.

The Worshipful Master, W Bro Roger Blake in the chair after many years, conducted a wonderful advancement ceremony, great ritual delivered with much panache which the  Candidate will remember for years to come.

The Provincial Grand Master spoke about the new Adventor Club , explaining the objective of getting more brethren to visit other lodges in the Province , in the first two weeks over 50 brethren had joined the club and he was confident of the numbers really expanding.

Dining after the ceremony was most enjoyable with the famous Keynsham buffet being served to all , so much choice and seconds if still hungry!

Everyone agreed that it was a most successful evening and with 3 new members and a candidate, things look bright for the Somerdale Lodge.
