Surprises at Sussex Mark Lodge November Meeting

Most brethren thought they were in for a quiet evening with a lecture from the Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Richard Ferris being the main attraction. What a lovely surprise to see the Provincial Grand Master in attendance.

Although the numbers were small it was such an enjoyable evening with the highlight being the Provincial Grand Master requesting the DC to present W Bro Tony Wilcox to him. W Bro Tony, who was a guest, looked absolutely shocked not knowing why he had been called forward.

The Provincial Grand Master RW Bro Phil Voisey presented W Bro Tony with his Festival Collar Jewel having gained Patron status.

The Lecture presented by the Worshipful Master was interesting, investigating the links between the Craft, Chapter and Mark degrees, which is very topical at this time. The Festive Board was a jolly event with laughter filling the large dining room
