Provincial AGM 2025

The Annual General Meeting of Somerset Mark Masons was recently held at the Webbington Hotel. It was attended by over 100 brethren as well plenty of Provinisl Grand Masters from Neighbouring Provinces.

The highlights of the meeting were watching the recipients receive first appointment or promotion in Provincial Grand Rank, learning that the Province is growing again in numbers and watching several Brethren receive their reward for donations the Masonic Benevolent Foundation to support the Somerset 2028 Festival.

The Provincial Grand Master gave his address he said how ‘Proud’ he was of the Province and that it continues to grow and unite in the common goal of being happy and communicating happiness. He thanked the outgoing Provincial team for their hard work and dedication in supporting him throughout the year. He hopes that the new team will enjoy the year and get the most out of it.

Following the meeting, the brethren, accompanied by their wives, enjoyed a scrumptious banquet. What a superb way to round off the day.

The Provincial Grand Master invites you to join him in London on the Tuesday before Craft Grand Lodge to support the recipients for their First Appointment to Mark Grand Rank. He looks forward to seeing you in the Shakespeare’s head at midday.
