Adventor Club members swell the numbers at Nailsea Mark Lodge No. 1548
The Adventor Club enjoyed a great evening at Nailsea on Monday 12th May, this being the 2nd time they had visited the lodge in only a few months.
The Worshipful Master greeted R W Bro Philip Clifford Voisey, the Provincial Grand Master, who informed the brethren that he was attending as a member of the Adventor Club.
Around 40 Mark Master Masons were in attendance to support the Worshipful Master W Bro Philip Mills, who, with his officers, advanced Bro Paul Richard Bateman, a member of King Alfred Lodge No3169.
The Adventor Club members were assembled in the East and welcomed by the Worshipful Master The Number of club members were noticeable as they stood to acknowledge the greeting, The Chairman of the Adventor Club responded by saying how pleased the members were to be paying a second visit, the first in March after being invited by the lodge to assist in an advancement.
Bro Paul was then advanced to the Degree of Mark Master Mason by the Worshipful Master, ably assisted by his Officers, a special acknowledgement for W Bro Ian Strickland and W Bro David Smith, who presented the Secrets and working tools respectively (both visitors with The Adventor Club)
The Festive Board was up to the usual high standard from the Nailsea catering staff, and the atmosphere reflected the enjoyment enjoyed by all.
