Hayley Hunt – Zip Wire Challenge

On Sunday 25th June 2023 Hayley Hunt who is the Hall Manager at Taunton Masonic Hall and well known to many travelled to Liskeard in Cornwall and to The Adrenalian Quarry to take part in a Sponsored Zip Wire Challenge in aid of the Marie Currie Charity. This event was a group initiative by staff of Superdrug Store with Hayley representing the Taunton Branch. Other stores included Wellington, Minehead, Exeter, Torquay, Totness and Brixham.

A collection at a recent meeting at Taunton of Somerset Installed Mark Master Masons, a collection was made at the Festive Board. With the generosity of Match Funding, the sum donated to the cause was £400.00, a classic example of the spirit of Mark Masonry.

Some Craft Lodges at the Taunton also donated fixed amounts together with outside contributions collected by Hayley.

The final amount that Hayley raised for the Taunton Store was £2,197.73

Needless to say that Hayley was tremendously grateful for all the donations received and in particular to Mark Masonry and Craft in general and this was a great achievement to the total raised for the charity.
