150 years of Mark Masonry
Royal Sussex Lodge of Mark Master Masons No.177, recently celebrated 150 years since consecration of the Lodge. The evening was well attended and the Assistant Grand Master was in attendance.
The Worshipful Master Richard Ferris welcomed the Provincial Grand Master, who to took the chair, who then hand it over to the guest of honour.
The Provincial Grand Secretary read the original warrant and the 150 year warrant. Which was then present to the Worshipful Master and members of the lodge.
The Assistant Grand Master welcomed and congratulated the members of the lodge on reaching their magnificent milestone.
A presentation was given by Malcolm Toogood on the lodges place in history as well as local famous people who had been members of the lodge during it’s extensive history.
During the evening the Provincial Grand Master presented several Brethren with their 2028 Mark Benevolent Festival Collarettes.
