WBro Alan Webber achieves 50 glorious years in the Royal Ark Mariners

A goodly number of Royal Ark Mariners from across the Province battled heavy storms and flooded roads to eventually wash ashore at the November Installation meeting of the Exmoor Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners at Minehead to see WBro Allan Dummett Installed as Worshipful Commander of the Lodge.

WBro Alan Webber was then presented with a 50 year veterans certificate by Past PGM RWBro John Morgan, a great achievement indeed. To achieve fifty years service in any degree beyond the Craft is most certainly a marvellous acomplishment, but in the Royal Ark Mariner, its truly rare. Congratulations Alan!

Following an excellent festive board those with further to travel were pleased to see that the waters had receded somewhat and were able to get safely home. Never has the background story of the degree been more apt!
