Christmas Celebrations at The Carnarvon Lodge

Over 50 brethren attended Keynsham Masonic Hall for the last Mark meeting of the year and although there was no candidate to Advance the evening had plenty to keep everyone fully engaged.
The travelling Keystone had made its way to Keynsham in the capable hands of the Master of the Royal Sussex Lodge, W Bro Malcolm Toogood supported by a good number from the lodge, it was well received by W Bro Paul Drake the master of Carnarvon who promised to deliver it to Eldon Lodge on the 1st February.
The Team of Development and Improvement had been invited to Carnarvon and 9 members presented the Mark Tracing Board in a very professional manner.
As the Provincial Grand Master stated at the festive board, the Team is available to assist at both Mark and Royal Ark Mariner meetings.
It will do demonstrations of Ceremonies plus presentations of the Mark Lecture and Tracing Board and Royal Ark Mariner Tracing Board subject to reasonable notice being given.

The Provincial Grand Master as mentioned above did attend as a guest of the Deputy Provincial Grand Master who is a member of The Carnarvon Lodge.
During the evening the Provincial Grand Charity Steward, W Bro Val Cooke spoke about the important work which the Mark Benevolent Fund (MBF) does and the monies that are distributed throughout the country and abroad. He also spoke about the Somerset Festival 2028 and the objective for the province.
3 guests attending the meeting who had achieved Festival Honorifics through Regular Giving were presented with their collars by the Provincial Grand Master, W Bro Richard Ferris, a Patron award, and Bro Davida Pina & W Bro Ian McDonald their Vice Patron awards.
A Christmas carvery awaited the brethren after the proceedings, and everyone enjoyed some good festive fun.
It certainly was a great advert for Mark Masonry.
